Drug Metabolism
Drug Metabolism is the biological process of breaking down pharamaceutical compounds for excretion. Faculty in our department are studying these mechanisms in many ways including developing new methods to measure the fates of drugs and chemicals and developing a "Human Physiome on a Chip" to determine the responses of a drug on a body in an invitro system.
