Profiling and Perturbing Epithelial-Mesenchymal Plasticity in Cancer
Abstract:
Cellular plasticity is a fundamental feature of mammalian biology that can be co-opted in cancer to enable disease initiation and progression. Requiring an understanding of changes in cell phenotype over time, the study of cellular plasticity remains challenging. We are using genetic lineage tracing and in situ sequencing to systematically study the genetic determinants of epithelial-mesenchymal plasticity in cancer.
