Postdoctoral associates and fellows at MIT are engaged in mentored research for a temporary period to further develop their scholarly competence and pursue a career in academia, research, or industry. The postdoc community in the Department of Biological Engineering is vibrant and diverse, with almost 100 postdocs working in the department’s various research areas.
