Nanoscale Engineering
Nanoscale engineering is the process of developing novel technologies and assays at the nanoscale, approximately 1/1000th of a human hair. Faculty in BE are designing nucleic acids structures to probe biological processes at this level, producing nanofluidic sieves to separate biomolecules, and working on many other exciting projects.
