Title:
Nanoscale Mapping of RNA via Expansion Microscopy
Abstract:
The ability to image RNA identity and location with nanoscale precision throughout tissues would enable the molecular characterization of cell types, sub-cellular compartments, and signaling pathways, in normal as well as pathological states. We have developed an approach called Expansion FISH (ExFISH), which uses Expansion Microscopy to enable the super-resolution imaging of RNA structure and location with diffraction-limited microscopes in thick specimens.
