-Will lectures be available asynchronously? 

Yes, lectures will be recorded and posted online.

-Are there any aspects of the lecture that would require live, synchronous attendance? 

No aspects will require live attendance other than live Q&A. We strongly encourage live attendance however in order to build community and participate in live Q&A, plus breakout room discussions to reinforce learning.

-Will recitations be available asynchronously? 

While there will not be regular recitations, recorded recitations will be available asynchronously, when they are held.

-Are there any aspects of the recitation that would require live, synchronous attendance? 

No aspects require live attendance other than live Q&A.

-Has the format and length of exams been decided?  If so, can you describe how exams will be conducted in your course? 

Yes, we plan to distribute exams online, and students will then have 48-hours to complete and turn their solutions in on-line.

-Are there other graded elements of the course (e.g., quizzes, take-home exams, etc..)? If so, can you describe the format of these? 

Yes, regular approximately weekly problem sets and a single, team-based term project will also be graded.

-Will you offer schedulable 1-on-1 office hours? 

Yes, professors will be available by appointment for office hours throughout the semester.

-Are each of these elements set, or do you anticipate changing the format or graded aspects of the class? 

These elements are largely set, though we do plan to communicate actively with the students to modify/adjust course format if needed.
